JUNE 2024 Sale and Open days
We’re in the final phase of relocating the remaining rides and vintage vehicles from the fair to new owners. This next phase of the sale of the fair also includes various assorted spares, fairground related equipment, memorabilia and artefacts.
Across the Open Days there will be a wide range of vintage vehicles on display and the remaining vintage fairground rides might be built up for viewings (subject to availability). (These will not be in operation for the public to ride during the Open Days).
This is a big event in the calendar for anyone interested in vintage fairground rides or vintage vehicles and anyone who was a fan of the fair. It’s held across multiple days so that those in the industry will have a chance to come and view.
Whether you are a fan of the fair or love signwriting and hand painted lettering, Joby has lots planned for you all. Free entry every day.

Parking – please park on the roadways only being considerate of other road users and residents. You can’t park on any of the nearby grass areas or on the track outside any of our yards.

If you are interested in owning any of our rides or vintage transport we encourage you to get in touch as soon as possible. We have some potential buyers interested in making an offer on their preferred rides before we build up the remaining collection. Please get in touch with us via email [email protected] if you are considering buying one of our rides or vehicles and would like to arrange a viewing.
PUBLIC OPEN DAYS:
Friday 14, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June
Open at 10-4pm, free entry.
Friday: Open 10-4pm. Preview the artwork and signs in the auction taking place on Saturday 15 June
Saturday: Open 10-4pm. Fairground art and handpainted signs auction at 12noon. All are welcome.
Sunday: Open 10-4pm. Signwriting Sunday event : free event to showcase traditional skills with free demonstrations and the opportunity to stock up on signwriitng supplies.
